After your PRP Scalp Injections: Things you should know
Following your PRP treatment, avoid touching or washing your scalp for at least 12 hours to allow the PRP to settle. Refrain from strenuous exercise, swimming, and excessive sun exposure for 24 hours, as these can affect healing. For the next few days, avoid hair products, coloring, or chemical treatments to give your scalp time to rest and maximize results. You may experience mild tenderness or swelling, which typically subsides within a day or two. Full results will develop over a few months as hair growth progresses.
